Aviator Chic

Statuesque, willowy, and exquisite, Amelia Earhart a beloved American icon in the first half of the 20th century, did not just put women on airplanes but put them in pants!  Her iconic style of aviator chic is still very much in fashion today.  She made aviator sunglasses and hats, bomber jackets, silk scarves, and slim trousers as fashionable as a model on a runway.  With today being Amelia Earhart Day (the date in 1936 that she became the first woman to fly solo from Honolulu, Hawaii to Oakland, California), I decided to channal my own inner Amelia in honor of one of the most courageous and stylish women in history!  Heres to you, Amelia!
