Bread Beads

On a recent rainy day, we made colorful beads out of bread slices, glue, and a few drops of lemon juice.  This mixture makes a nice mailable clay that can be colored with various types of paint.  Mini cookie cutters and drinking straws can be used to make different shapes.  You can also mold some by hand.  Once holes are made and they are dry, you can turn them into cool pieces of jewelry.  Best of all, it is inexpensive and keeps little ones busy for several hours!  Great for rainy day fun!  Here are the Directions to make these unique pieces of art.
